- Pair cards that total 13. Match a Queen with an Ace, a Jack with a 2, a 10 with a 3, and so on.
- Remove Kings by themselves. Kings are worth 13, so an exposed King can be cleared without another card.
- Only exposed cards can move. A pyramid card is available only when no cards overlap it from the row below.
- Use the stock and waste. Draw from the stock to find cards that pair with exposed pyramid cards.
